It is here that he encounters his Nemesis, Fiona Gray, the flamboyant editor of The Times who lures him into a strange visionary underworld in which the truths of history are revealed in a new and horrifying light. Meanwhile, astrobiologist, Dr Fred Lieberman is trying to convince the world that the catastrophe is a hidden blessing that could save the earth from the irreparable damage caused by civilisation itself. The dominant theme in my writing is the relationship between the isolated individual of a modern atomized society and the universal cult of celebrity. My characters are thrust into circumstances in which inadequacy and envy militate against the power of fame and where the privileges of success lead into the dark recesses of transgression, hubris and guilt. This can take the form of an assassin, an understudy or an historian. The first three volumes of the series are now complete. The fourth is in process.
